Terrestrial Leak Detection Surveys
Targeted leak surveys of all potential gas leak sources using terrestrial or aerial survey technologies.
Terrestrial leak surveys
All potential leak sources are covered
We can detect, validate, quantify, tag, risk assess and report leaks from gas production facilities (well heads), gathering systems (low pressure pipelines), gas processing facilities (compressor stations), distribution lines (high pressure pipelines), downstream processing facilities (liquefaction), and shipping infrastructure (storage tanks, terminals & ships).
Within each of these locations, we perform point source Leak surveys while your process equipment is online.
This means zero interruption to your gas production and processing.

During point source leak surveys we deploy a range of hand-held technologies to detect, verify, quantify and risk assess gas leaks. Technologies used depend on the primary gas constituent in the process stream and the reporting objective.

For methane based process streams we deploy tunable diode laser absorption spectrometers (LAS) to detect and quantify emissions to atmosphere directly from the potential leak source.
Other leak detection technologies include Flame ionisation detection (FID) and Photo ionisation detection (PID), acoustic emission detection (AED), Thermography (FLIR), and optical gas imaging (OGI), light detection and ranging (LiDAR).
Leak sources inspected during point source surveys include all process equipment within reach of a leak surveyor walking through a processing facility, along a pipeline, in a tank farm, a shipping terminal, or a vessel.
