Turbine Blade Condition Data Capture

  • Eliminate Rope Access HSE hazards through the use of RPAS (Drone) technology specifically developed for the task.

  • Establish "baseline" condition data per blade per turbine

  • Perform follow-up surveys of specific anomalies with pin-point accuracy and repeatability.

  • AISS surveyors use a wind turbine blade image capture interface which ensures raw imagery complies with the BladeEdge â„¢ image processing algorithms.

  • In less than 1 Hr per turbine, we capture all 3 blades and all 4 sides of each blade (High Pressure, Low Pressure, Leading Edge, Trailing Edge)

  • Validate all imagery (per blade / per turbine) before moving on to the next turbine.

  • Survey multiple turbines in one day (Entire Wind Farm in a few days)

  • AISS survey personnel work independently while complying with all site specific work permit and HSE requirements.
